Thread: Going to the park! Left 4 Dead style.

So Trigger, DK Head, and I decided to go to the park one day. We'd take a picnic, have a swim in the lake, and throw some frisbee xD. Unfortunately Zoey was taken out by a rampaging tank on the way from our estate, and she was carrying most of the food

. But we made the park in a generally good mood, though DK was a bit disappointed that we had to leave the propane tanks back at the petrol station, I had to keep reminding him that even during a zombie apocalypse, stealing is wrong.

Here is a great picture I took of us entering the park in high spirits. As you can see it was getting kind of dark, which seems to happen a lot after the zombies started coming. Actually, I can't remember seeing the sun since...

Anyway, let me get back to the story. So me DK and Trigger jogged merrily along the path, up towards the pavilion. There were a few angry teenagers in hoodies along the way. I don't know what was up with them but they kept running at us trying to steal our picnic. Trigger saw them off though, he even shot me once, I was so like, "Do I even look like a zombie!". Heh yeah that was funny.

We reached the pavilion and there was a door there, I'd never seen it before, but aparently Zoey knew it was there because she had managed to get ahead of us and hide in there and wait for us! Maybe she was gonna jump out and surprise us, but we were too good for her and we opened the door to let her out. I think she was disappointed. Anyway, you won't BELIEVE what happened next. We approached a house, knocked on the door but nobody was in there. I saw a letter on the table, it read, "Gone to escape apocalypse", and DK noticed they had left loads of guns and ammo near the sink. I thought about ringing them to tell them they left all their stuff but before I could find a phone, a radio on the side started transmitting.

Well, they told us who they were. Apparently they are a couple and they have a fishing boat (I wonder if it's a shrimping boat haha xD) and that they will come to get us if we wanted, but we should prepare first? I don't know what they meant by that, but we were all up for an adventure, seeing as we lost our food, so we said, "yeah, whatever", and they said they'd be like 15 minutes. Anyway, so we had 15 minutes to kill, and I didn't realize how literal that sentence would be until we finally got onto the boat
